On February 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveiled the Sudarshan Setu, the Signature Bridge in the Dwarka pilgrimage site that connects Okha and Beyt. At 2.32 km, Sudarshan Setu is the longest cable-stayed bridge in India.
The Bhagavad Gita verses and images of Lord Krishna adorning the pavement on both sides of the Signature Bridge highlight its distinctive design. On top of that, it is the longest cable-stayed bridge in India. One megawatt of electricity will be generated by solar panels that are mounted on the upper sections of the bridge.
At an estimated cost of ₹978 crore, the 2.5 km bridge would be a major attraction for pilgrims visiting the revered Dwarkadhish Temple as well as locals. The bridge connects Okha mainland and Beyt Dwarka in Gujarat. Beyt Dwarka is an island next to Okha port, around 30 kilometers from Dwarka town, the birthplace of the well-known Dwarkadhish temple devoted to Lord Krishna.
The bridge, which was unveiled by the Center in 2017 with a groundbreaking ceremony, intends to make it easier for devotees to travel between Okha and Bet Dwarka. Before it was built, pilgrims had to go to the Dwarkadhish Temple in Beyt, Dwarka, via boat.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) also announced that PM Modi will inaugurate five campuses of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot (Gujarat), Bathinda (Punjab), Raebarel (Uttar Pradesh), Kalyani (West Bengal) and Mangalagiri. (Andhra Pradesh) in Rajkot during a public function.
